Industrial Wireless Water Sensors

The WEB ID Industrial wireless water sensors can collect temperature data or presence of water or other non-combustible liquids using a sealed NTC thermistor with 3 foot lead wires. Powered by two AA batteries and optimized for long life (approx. 4+ years with normal use). User customization allows you to set the frequency of readings and thresholds that will trigger text or email alerts from the system.

Note - While the wire leads and thermistor have a water tight seal, the electronics housing (RF portion) of the industrial wireless water sensor is not sealed for wet environments or outdoor use. If needed, we recommend using Monnit industrial water temperature sensors.

Industrial Wireless Water Temperature Sensors Operation

The WEB ID Industrial Wireless Water Temperature Sensors can collect temperature data of water or other non-combustible liquids using a sealed NTC thermistor with 1 metre lead wires. The industrial wireless water temperature sensor is programmed to sleep for a user defined time interval (heartbeat) and then wakeup, send power to the NTC Thermistor and wait for it to stabilize, and convert the analog data, mathematically compute the water temperature and transmit the data to the gateway.

To stay within the abilities of the processor, the industrial water temperature is computed off a data table provided by the manufacturer. To reduce error, a variable resistor configuration is implemented over specified temperature ranges. The industrial wireless water sensors temperature data can be displayed in degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius.

Industrial Wireless Water Detection Sensors Operation

The WEB ID Industrial Wireless Water Detection Sensor detects when water is present by completing the circuit between the two leaded wires. When water is present the sensor will immediately turn on the RF radio and transmit the data to the wireless gateway and WEB ID's Online Sensor Monitoring and Notification System, allowing the user to immediately receive an SMS text or email alert.

The industrial wireless water sensors can be configured to detect both the presence and non-presence of water.

Detect Plus water detection sensors has a spot detection probe at the end of the water detection wire. The spot detection probe can be positioned and mounted at a set distance above the ground eliminating false alarms.

This industrial wireless water sensors are designed for applications in an ordinary environment (humidity and atmospheric pressure). Do not use this sensor under the following conditions as these factors can deteriorate the product characteristics and cause failures and burn-out.

• Corrosive gas or deoxidizing gas - chlorine gas, hydrogen sulfide gas, ammonia gas, sulfuric acid gas, nitric oxides gas, etc.).
• Volatile or flammable gas.
• Dusty conditions.
• Under low or high pressure.
• Wet or excessively humid locations.
• Places with salt water, oils chemical liquids or organic solvents.
• Where there are excessively strong vibrations.
• Other places where similar hazardous conditions exist.
Use this wireless temperature sensor within the specified temperature range. Higher temperature may cause deterioration of the characteristics or the material quality of the wireless water sensor.
