Wifi Temperature Sensors:
Take advantage of your Wifi network by using the WEB ID Wifi water sensors connecting directly to your Wifi network and communicating with the WEB ID online sensor management portal. No other hardware is required, nothing more to pay no in-house computer requirements.

The WEB ID Wifi water sensors Australia detect water and measure water temperatures. An integrated 802.11 b/g radio transmitter allows the device to be easily programmed to work with any existing Wi-Fi network. WEB ID Wifi water sensors Australia can be easily programmed with Wi-Fi network security via a low cost USB programming cable, available here, and the free MoWi Setup Utility for Windows PC's, keeping the user's Wifi network secure.

User defined transmission intervals (heartbeats) and sensor threshold settings ensure that sensor data is received when needed, based on the application. All sensor data is stored securely in the WEB ID Online Sensor Monitoring software and is viewable from any web enabled device. Email and SMS text messages can be configured through the online system to alert the user immediately when a defined parameter has been met or exceeded.

Wifi Water Temperature Sensors Operation

The WEB ID Wifi Water Temperature Sensor can collect temperature data of water or other non-combustible liquids using a sealed NTC thermistor with 1 metre lead wires. The wifi water temperature sensors are programmed to sleep for a user defined time interval (heartbeat) and then wakeup, send power to the NTC Thermistor and wait for it to stabilize, and convert the analog data, mathematically compute the water temperature and transmit the data to the gateway.

To stay within the abilities of the processor, the water temperature is computed off a data table provided by the manufacturer. To reduce error, a variable resistor configuration is implemented over specified temperature ranges. Temperature data can be displayed in degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius.

Wifi Water Detection Sensors Operation

The WEB ID wifi Water Detection Sensors detects when water is present by completing the circuit between the two leaded wires. When water is present the sensor will immediately turn on the RF radio and transmit the data to the wireless gateway and WEB ID's Online Sensor Monitoring and Notification System, allowing the user to immediately receive an SMS text or email alert.

The wifi sensors can be configured to detect both the presence and non-presence of water
